Now Hiring: Child/Adolescent Therapist

Summary: Basset Psychological Services is looking for a hard-working child/adolescent behavioral health therapist with strong clinical skills and a fun-loving personality to come be a part of our rapidly growing practice.

Who we are: Basset Psychological Services is a tight-knit, energetic team of clinical psychologists and therapists who are dedicated to helping children and families. Our niche is kids with anxiety and disruptive behavior disorders, but we also work with children and adolescents with a variety of presenting concerns. We value diverse perspectives, healthy work habits, and a culture of fun, honesty, and ownership. As a small business, we all wear several hats and tackle different projects based on our unique skills and interests.

Why we are here: Our therapists have a strong passion for working with children, adolescents, and their families, which translates to a strong sense of purpose. The work we do isn’t viewed as a job, rather as a true calling. The creation of Basset was inspired by an act of faith and as a way to honor God through service to others.  Although the founding of the practice is rooted in faith, our team members are driven by their individual sense of purpose and use that passion to implement empirically-supported interventions to help our clients and their families reach their therapeutic goals. Over the years, our practice has grown to include therapists who have common core values: a true desire to understand others, to help them understand and embrace feelings and emotions in a way that enhances their lives, and to help people learn that better, easier, and happier lives are possible.

Who you are: You are an independently licensed clinical psychologist, social worker, or clinical counselor. You practice using empirically-supported interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. You like to think outside the box to provide excellent care for the families you work with. You are a self-starter and enjoy working both independently and with a team. You are a team player and will contribute to the practice with your time and talent beyond your clinical duties. You see your work as your privilege to serve others using a specialized skill set. You enjoy interacting with your colleagues and look forward to having pizza with them after work occasionally.

What you will do: As a clinician, you will provide behavioral health services to children and families on a full-time basis, seeing an average of 20-24 clients per week.  You will attend team meetings and contribute to creative clinical projects. Sometimes, you will be called upon to assist the practice in non-clinical projects if needed.  You will occasionally join the team for coffee or lunch to build camaraderie.

What you will enjoy: Basset was created so that clinicians make a good living helping others without being overwhelmed by their work. Our team members all have the opportunity to set their schedules, work with clients that make them feel energized, and have the opportunity to earn competitive pay. Our team members all enjoy above average compensation, healthcare reimbursement benefits through a QSEHRA, the flexibility to manage their own schedule, a fun and safe work environment, and a team that is authentic and true to its values.
