Catherine Troncone, Psy.D.


Catherine Troncone is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Madeira, Ohio.  Her areas of specialty include Child and Adolescent psychology, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Health Psychology.


Dr. Troncone joined Basset Psychological Services in 2017, first as a postdoctoral fellow, and now as a licensed clinical psychologist.  In addition to her work at Basset, Dr. Troncone also works as behavioral health faculty in the family medicine residency program at Bethesda Family Practice in Cincinnati.  She has previously worked as a therapist in the TriHealth School-Based Behavioral Health program, where she provided school-based psychological interventions and prevention programs to children, families, and staff at Parker Woods Montessori School in Cincinnati’s Northside neighborhood.


Dr. Troncone completed both her Doctoral and Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology at Xavier University, and she earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Notre Dame.  She completed her predoctoral internship in health psychology at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan.  She completed postdoctoral fellowships with Basset and with the TriHealth School-Based Behavioral Health program.  She has experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based setting, private practice, and in a family medicine clinic.
